Please join us for our Sunday morning service at 10:30 A.M.

Everyone is welcome!

Our Northview Church Campus is located at the corner of Fairbairn Street and Towerhill Road in Peterborough's North End. Our Building is home to our Church, our Diamond Award winning "Northview DaySchool" and Northview Korean Church.

We're glad you've taken the time to visit our website!

We hope that you'll find the time to join us on a Sunday morning sometime in the near future.

Below, you can find some information about what you should expect on a typical Sunday morning. If you've got a question that isn't included below, simply give us a call or send us an email and we'll get back to you!

Our Cafe is temporarily closed until the restrictions are lifted and we are able to serve complementary coffee and tea once again.

How looooong is it?

The typical Sunday morning gathering begins at 10:30 A.M. and concludes by 12:00 noon. On special occasions we may include a lunch or a BBQ, and you are more than welcome to participate as our guest. You can check out our events calendar so you can plan your visit.

Will I be comfortable?

You will find lots of space to sit and be comfortable in our air-conditioned building. If you're concerned about what you should wear, the majority of people tend to dress "business casual." So whether you choose to wear a suit or t-shirt and blue jeans, it really doesn't matter, we are glad you are here.

What does the typical service look like?

For the first half-hour, we express our love and thanks to God by singing together with our worship band. Don't worry, we won't ask you to do a solo. While we often ask people to stand during the singing (kind of like how a crowd stands up to cheer for their team when they score a goal), worship isn't a marathon and you're more than welcome to sit down at any time.

Saying hello:

During our time together, we'll often take a break for a couple of minutes for you to shake hands with the person beside you and say a friendly "hello". We are sure that somebody will shake your hand, introduce themselves and make you feel at home. We encourage guests to fill out a 'welcome card' which are available at the back of the seats and hand it in at the Welcome Centre.

At some point during our service, there will be an opportunity to worship God by giving to support our church and the work we do in our community and around the world. We consider it part of our weekly worship to God but you are under no obligation to give and you will not feel pressured. Nobody will shake you down or have you turn out your pockets. If you want to give and would like a tax receipt, there are envelopes available in the back of each seat. Simply fill out your name and address, put your money inside and drop it in the collection plate when it goes around.

The Pastor shares from the Bible:

Each week the Pastor (or a Guest, usually a Missionary) will share a relevant, Bible-based talk. If you don't have a Bible, don't sweat it, just ask an usher, we will give you one to take home!

Following the pastor's talk, we generally conclude our time together with some prayer. Sometimes the pastor simply leads out in prayer from the stage, at other times he might encourage you to come up to the front if you would like prayer for a specific need or situation in your life. Of course, you're more than welcome to stay in your seat, but we always like to give you the opportunity to be prayed for.

Do you offer anything for my Kids?

During the "message portion" of our morning service, kids aged 4-10 will be invited to the front where a pastor will dismiss them with a prayer and they will be escorted by our workers to their age appropriate classrooms where they will have a Bible story, craft and snack.

Jr. Church is available for children aged 2 & 3 and they will be escorted to their classroom after being signed in by a parent, before the start of the service.

Our nursery is open and staffed every Sunday morning, and children aged infant to 24 months old can be dropped off and signed in by a parent before the start of the service.

All of our children's workers and helpers have been through training and a screening process which includes current police checks.

Is your Church Wheelchair Accessible?

Our main entrance way and our North access doors are wheelchair accessible and our building is all on one level. Washrooms are also wheelchair accessible.
